Learn To Fly

Train Properly. Fly Confidently.

So, you want to learn to fly a powered paraglider? Whether you are completely new to aviation or looking for a new way to experience the sky, learning to fly a PPG is an exciting journey. But becoming a pilot is about more than simply getting airborne. It is about understanding your equipment, reading the conditions, controlling your wing, managing power, making good decisions and developing the confidence to fly responsibly. At AeroTAG Academy, we believe every pilot should start with the right foundation.

Why Professional PPG Training Matters

A paramotor may look simple from the outside. A wing, an engine and a pilot. But once you are in the air, there are many factors to understand, from wing control and launch technique to weather, airspace, navigation and emergency procedures. That is why proper instruction matters. A qualified instructor can observe your technique, provide immediate feedback and introduce new skills progressively, allowing you to develop good habits from the beginning. Videos, online content and advice from friends can help you understand the sport, but they cannot replace structured, hands-on instruction.

Your Training

Your Pace. Your Progress

Everyone learns differently, and every pilot develops at their own pace. Our training is designed to give you the time, guidance and practical experience needed to built your confidence step by step.

Your journey begins on the ground, where you'll learn how to handle your equipment, understand per-flight procedures and develop proper control techniques before progressing into powered flight.

As your skills develop, you'll gradually work towards controlled launches, flight take-offs and landings. each stage builds on the previous one, helping you become more comfortable, aware and confident in the air.

There is no need to rush. We focus on building a strong foundation first, so you can progress safely and confidently towards becoming an independent pilot.

 Come To Train

CHECK THE WEATHER

PPG is highly dependent on weather and wind conditions. Your instructor will assess whether conditions are appropriate for training.

WEAR THE RIGHT CLOTHING

Choose comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activity. Conditions can change, so dress appropriately for the environment.

WEAR PROPER FOOTWEAR

Supportive footwear is important when running during launches and landings and when moving around uneven terrain.

STAY HYDRATED

PPG training can be physically demanding. Bring water and make sure you arrive properly hydrated.

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM SUN

Training takes place outdoors. Sunglasses, appropriate clothing and sun protection can make a long training day much more comfortable.

ARRIVE EARLY TO LEARN

Bring your focus, patience and willingness to learn. Some days you'll fly. Some days you'll practice. Some days you'll learn.
